Hunger Strike™ is a fundraising campaign created to empower local Rotarians to help feed children and families in the United States. Rotarians across the country are encouraged to participate and each Rotary Club can elect to sign up to host a Hunger Strike fundraiser in their community.
Funds raised will benefit* local anti-hunger efforts in your local community, Harvest Against Hunger and the No Kid Hungry campaign.
This campaign is a powerful way for Rotarians to engage with their local communities and demonstrate the impact of Rotary.

No child should go hungry in America. But millions don’t know where their next meal is coming from. No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive. This is a problem we know how to solve. No Kid Hungry is a campaign by Share Our Strength, an organization working to end hunger and poverty.
As both a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and a program of Rotary District 5030, Harvest Against Hunger works with farmers, truckers, volunteers, and others to bring valuable skills and resources into hunger relief efforts in communities across Washington state and beyond.
* Donations made to the Hunger Strike initiative will invest 50% in local anti-hunger efforts in your local community and 50% to No Kid Hungry’s and Harvest Against Hunger’s national hunger efforts.
