Local leadership.
National momentum.

01

Build your team

Rotary clubs invite members, local businesses, friends, and neighbors to participate together.

02

Raise for 33 days

Teams compete on a national leaderboard and turn every weekly contest vote into campaign dollars.

03

Celebrate nationwide

The campaign culminates in a live chef-led podcast connecting participating clubs and communities across the country.

Four weeks. Four national contests.

Every club creates.
Every dollar is a vote.

Each contest gives clubs something fun and meaningful to accomplish, share online, and rally their communities around.

$1 = 1 vote

Supporters donate directly to their favorite club's contest entry. Every vote counts toward that week's winner and the club's total on the national fundraising leaderboard.

Week 01

The Rotary Recipe Rally

Create a 60-second video featuring your club's signature dish, the story behind it, and why your team is fighting hunger.

How to win

The entry with the most donated votes becomes the 2026 Hunger Strike Signature Dish.

Week 02

The Pantry Five Cook-Off

Five common pantry ingredients are revealed. Clubs create an original meal, then post a photo, recipe, and short presentation online.

How to win

Supporters vote for the most creative, appealing, and resourceful Pantry Five creation.

Week 03

Cans for a Cause Build-Off

Collect unopened shelf-stable foods, build a striking sculpture or display, and submit a photo or reel. Donate the food locally afterward.

How to win

The club whose creation earns the most donated votes wins the national build-off.

Week 04

Hometown Hunger Hero

Nominate a local food-bank worker, volunteer, school nutrition champion, or hunger-relief hero in a 90-second tribute video.

How to win

America votes to select the 2026 Hometown Hunger Hero, announced during the live finale.

Weekly winners receive a national campaign spotlight and recognition during the live Hunger Strike finale.

The National Finale

One unforgettable night.
A country united against hunger.

On November 2, the campaign culminates with a nationally streamed live podcast featuring famous chefs from around the world, weekly contest champions, fundraising highlights, and stories from participating Rotary clubs.
